I've been scrapping a bit lately
I just thought I would post a few of my recent layouts. Nothing spectacular but at least I keep plugging away at it. LOL
She Scores AGAIN! 2009

Haley tried out the last two weekends for her beloved Select Soccer! She is very proud to have made the A team. Her coach from last year and a friend of his are coaching the team and it looks like it will be fun. I am very proud of her for putting herself out there for 1.5 hours four weekend days in a row and hoping she will make the team. Some of her friends didn't and others made the B team.
I scrapbook now with her coaches wife Jena and shhhh she let me in on the fact that Rich wanted Haley on the team, but she still had to impress the other coach! This pic is part of the layout I did for last year. Her new team will be the Loomis Arsenal! Anyone who wants to drop by some Saturday this fall is welcome to come see her play, it's a lot of fun!
Daddy Daughter Dance, A landmark!!!
March 2009 was a big month for Haley. Her PE teacher who I might add is such a sweetie has been teaching ballroom dancing to both schools in the district 4th thorugh 8th grade. He ended it all with a dance. You could bring a parent if you liked, wasn't mandatory. Haley CHOSE to ask her daddy to go with her. I was very proud of her and we were all very happy that they have made it to this point in their relationship. They both had a wonderful time and she and her friends have been talking about it for weeks. The pictures tell the story!

We partied in Vegas
These pictures are all over the map but I have spent a month trying to size everything and just decided to post it and get on with life. I went to Vegas with three friends in Feb and had a blast. Walked, laughed and ate til I could have rolled home but it was a blast. Very unusual for me. No husband, kids, just girls and lots of fun. My friend and I went with her daughter and her friend. The girls treated us like queens and we are very grateful. We stayed at Caesars and were able to see Terry Fator. He apparently won 'America's Got Talent' last year? He was so funny I thought my ribcage would burst. Lots of people, lots of cabs and free tickets to the wax museum. Thus Tim McGraw and Obama!! Not much to add except Vegas has changed a lot, it's like Disneyland. So so crowded. Oh and my all time fav part was the fountains outside the Bellagio that go off to music. I want one in my pond??!! EDDDD??? can we do that?
