Most of April was spent organizing and getting ready for the May 1 Talent Show at Penryn School. I chose to chair it this year and wow what a job. I did have lots of help thank goodness and Haley throughly enjoyed the whole event so it was well worth the time spent. She performed in three acts! First she was in a dance routine with her friend to 'YMCA'. They were so good. The audience got up off their feet and danced with them. The highlight at home was that gramma forgot she needed costumes LOL Luckily Erica (Alyssa's Mom) took care of the instrumental costume and the night before dress rehearsal Ed and I were scrambling to find feathers for her Indian in YMCA. You'll never guess where we ended up at 7:30 on Wed night? Raleys pet department! It worked and turned out cute.

Then after that act she did an instrumental with Alyssa to 'America'. They sort of got hooked in on this one. We (the organizers) needed someone from the band to play and they were the only ones who volunteered and followed through. They did a marvelous job!

Then she recited a Shel Silverstein poem "Sarah Sylvia Cynthia Stout Would Not Take The Garbage Out'. She filled garbage bags to use as props. Once again she did a great job.

In all the whole show was great. We got lots of compliments and Mandy and family came and took all these wonderful pictures.
